The GARAIA ecosystem is based on the generation of links between companies, technology centres and universities, thus promoting different dynamics to strengthen the collaboration between the different agents that compose it.
Local collaboration is promoted through the “Aurrera Debagoiena” platform, in which the different agents involved aim at coordinating actions towards optimising resources, with the ultimate aim of increasing the competitiveness of industrial companies in the territory.
We also have the collaboration of Mondragón Unibertsitatea (MU) and Ikerlan, whose main goals are to contribute to the transformation of society through the generation of knowledge and its transfer to the company.
This requires the coexistence in a same physical environment of agents that develop their activity in areas related to: industrial property management and protection, promotion of new activities, and fostering of the entrepreneurial culture, which, along with the spaces for co-creation, experimentation and validation of ideas, products and services, make GARAIA the ideal scenario for the implementation and development of new business activities.
To conclude, it should be noted that its membership in the Basque Park Network (PARKEAK), the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE), and the International Association of Science Parks (IASP), along with other associations present in the ecosystem, enables the interconnection of people and entities, fostering relationships and the transfer of experiences, at both the regional and global level.
